Another turbulent business year is drawing to a close. Even though Corona continued to keep us on our toes in 2021, we have become accustomed to the "new normal" and have once again turned our collective gaze towards the future. Together with you and yours, we have worked on exciting projects and new technologies this year, forged new networks and entered into collaborations, and invested together in the networks of the future. We would like to express our sincere thanks for this trusting cooperation!
For FMBE, 2021 was generally a year of investment - in new technologies and markets, new working methods and processes, and in our new and existing colleagues. In this way, we were able to achieve many important milestones for our company and our vision of engineering for the networks of the future.
This year, we went to market with our service portfolio for private 5G campus networks and were able to win and already implement the first exciting projects. But we have also invested a lot internally to align ourselves with our vision. In addition to the first cohort of apprentices who graduated this year and are now actively supporting us, we have been able to recruit many new highly qualified employees and engineering trainees.
As of 01.01.22, the "Radio Networks" division is now divided into two teams, "Engineering" and "Realisation", in order to sharpen our focus for new service offerings. After the departure of Niels Renz, Frank Müller will take over as site manager in Groß-Gerau and team leader for realisation, while Matthias Lorenz will take over the management of the engineering team.
The coming year 2022 will now be our chance to build on these investments and establish ourselves in new markets. We hope that you will continue to place your trust in us and look forward to a successful 2022 business year together.
