Supporting regional associations in the crisis

The year 2021 again demanded a lot from us: Corona measures and contact restrictions, home office and home schooling and last but not least the vaccination debate tug at our nerves. Although we are probably all feeling the effects of this crisis, it is hitting some harder than others. For this reason, we would like to continue our Christmas tradition in 2021 and support those associations from our region that work for the most vulnerable in our society.

First of all, this concerns the youngest in our society: As last year, we are able to fulfil another beautiful child's wish with a donation of 1,000 euros to MainLichtblick e.V.. The non-profit organisation, which fulfils the personal wishes of seriously ill, physically handicapped and traumatised children and young people, is active in the Frankfurt a.M. area and thus in the immediate vicinity of our location in Groß-Gerau. This year, our donation will make possible a climbing tower with slide for the children of a short-term care facility. Our authorised signatory Norbert Lemmert (in the photo on the left) and our new location manager in Groß-Gerau, Frank Müller (centre), handed over the cheque to the managing director of the association, Frank Fechner (right), this week.

We are also donating another 500 euros to Seniorenhilfe Rastatt e.V. at our company headquarters. With their commitment and their projects, the dedicated helpers of the association not only counteract the social isolation of senior citizens in the pandemic, but also provide unbureaucratic support in financial emergencies. Finally, another 500 euros went to Lebenshilfe Rastatt/Murgtal e.V., which offers a wide range of services. which supports not only people with disabilities of all ages, but also their parents, relatives and legal guardians with its diverse range of services.

We are grateful that the associations and their committed staff and volunteers provide cohesion in society, especially in these difficult times, and hope to be able to support their work with our donations.
